Its energy production<br \/>\ndepends on the <strong>water velocity<\/strong>. So, the stronger the current, the more electricity the river turbine will produce.<br \/>\nThe <strong>velocity<\/strong> of the river is usually expressed in terms of meters per second (m\/s). One meter per second is the equivalent of 2 knots.<br \/>\nThe speed can be measured using appropriate tools such as a current meter.<br \/>\nHere are some examples of river velocities which represents the ideal speed for the use of the river turbine.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/129269292\" width=\"700px\" height=\"450px;\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"section-full-width section-light-bg\" style=\"background-color:#f7f7f7;\" id=\"energyproduction\"><div class=\"section-boxed\" style=\"color:#373737;\"><h2 class=\"section-title\" style=\"color:#252525;\">Energy production<\/h2><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The process of power production goes as follows: the river current enables the spinning movement of the turbines<br \/>\nwhich activates the <strong>generator<\/strong>. The energy which ensues is then converted into electricity thanks to the built-in <strong>smart converter<\/strong>.<br \/>\nAfterward, the converted energy is forwarded to the batteries by an electric cable.
