Earth’s 2015 quota of renewable resources used up

According to the NGO Global Footprint Network, since august 13, 2015,  we have used up, within eight months, all the renewable resources the planet earth can produce in a year. According to Diane Simiu, of the WWF France, there is one solution: ” The governments have to act from now on, by accelerating the deployment of renewable energies, by strengthening the energy efficiency and by eliminating their subsidies to fossil fuels. ” Click here or here for more information.

Idénergie participates at C2Montreal

Idénergie was selected to participate in the event C2 Montreal, which took place from May 26th to the 28th at the Arsenal in Griffintown neighborhood. During the three day event, a charging station for cell phones placed in the Garage section of the Outer Plaza was powered solely by the energy generated by the river turbines installed in the Saint-Gabriel Lock, located about 600 meters from the site of C2 Montreal. The river turbines was also exposed in the E-Merge section, that combined art and emerging technologies.

ICOE 2014

The founders of Idénergie were present during the ICOE 2014 (International Conference on Ocean Energy) organized by Marine Renewables Canada in Halifax (Nova Scotia). The attendes had the opportunity to discover Idénergie’s smart convertor and preview the new 2015 model of the river turbine!
