Step 2: Assembling the River Turbine
We recommend you assemble the the turbines, stand and generator together on-site, as shown in the following video. This will make transporting the turbine to the installation site easier.

Step 3: Site Qualification
For a site to be adequate for the river turbine, it must meet a certain set of criteria, outlined in the following video. Site qualification is a must-do item before any river turbine installation.

- Access to installation site and distance to batteries
Step 4: Security Gear
Before taking the turbine into the water, installers must make sure they wear the required security gear and have the tools needed to safely install the turbine, thus minimizing the risk of injury.
– Trail crampons – Quick release – Ascender – Neoprene gloves – Knife – Harness – Safety jacket – Safety helmet – Wetsuit – Static safety rope
Step 5: Information (Part 2)
Installing the river turbine is sone in several steps, outlined in the following video. It is very important for all involved to use caution during this step.
